These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the "Training in Data" programme and any associated data consulting services ("Services"). By registering for training or engaging with consulting services, participants and clients agree to these Terms.

2. Scope

These Terms apply to:

Section A: Training Services

3. Eligibility

Training is open to approved participants only (e.g. employees, partners, contractors, or clients). External attendees must receive written confirmation from the Programme organisers.

4. Training Content & Usage

Training materials remain the intellectual property of the organisers and contributors. Content may be used for individual professional development only and must not be shared or reproduced without explicit written permission.

5. Registration & Attendance

Advance registration is required.

Cancellations should be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
No-shows may affect eligibility for future sessions.

6. Code of Conduct

Professional conduct is expected throughout. The organisers reserve the right to remove participants for inappropriate behaviour.

7. Assessment, Feedback & Certification

Some training may include assessments or post-training evaluations.

Feedback may be collected via surveys (e.g. SurveyMonkey).

Certificates of completion may be issued, subject to meeting participation and/or assessment criteria.

Section B: Data Consulting Services

8. Consulting Engagements

Data consulting services are delivered based on agreed scope, deliverables, and timelines. A Statement of Work (SoW) or engagement brief will be created and agreed upon before commencement.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

Provide necessary access to systems and stakeholders.

Ensure timely collaboration and feedback.

Maintain confidentiality and appropriate data handling practices.

10. Confidentiality & IP

Any insights, recommendations, or custom deliverables generated through consulting remain confidential. IP rights for bespoke solutions may be agreed upon separately in writing.

11. Fees and Payments

Where applicable, consulting fees will be outlined in the SoW. Payment terms are typically net 30 days unless otherwise stated.

General Terms

12. Data Protection

All personal and business data will be handled in accordance with applicable laws, including the UK GDPR. Data will be used only for the purposes of delivering and improving services.

13. Cancellations & Rescheduling

The organisers reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel training sessions or consulting engagements. Notice will be provided where possible.

14. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organisers disclaim liability for any loss, damage, or interruption resulting from participation in training or consulting services.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
